We have been commissioned by the Mater Private Hospital to create an awareness campaign to launch a new bariatric surgery programme that is the first of its kind in Ireland. We identified a strategy to help the service set a solid platform for growth, and set ambitious goals. Developing strong creative to drive awareness was a critical factor that we had to get right, first time. We delivered fresh thinking and structure to this project which enabled it to scale and grow, having a huge impact on lives all around the country.

Working closely with hospital consultants, a marketing team and a copywriter, we have developed a suite of information booklets for the surgery programme to educate patients on the various types of procedures and what to expect. The challenge in creating communication material following such a dramatic awareness campaign, was to reassure the patient that the procedure was a positive decision that will improve their quality of life, and that the Mater Private Hospital will look after the patient every step of the journey. Through language, photography and simple typography, we developed a suite of brochures that generates the right emotions to reassure the patient they are in the best hands possible.
